Just signed up for Boost & I have lines currently with Visible, Cricket & T-Mobile now too. Let's just say Boost Mobile took out my low bar of poor customer service previously held by Straight Talk. I absolutely look forward to chatting into Visible if needed over dealing with Boost Mobile again on a sim card that never arrived. Yikes, they've got to address that. Took 3 hours to get an answer. They transferred me to Dish twice, put me on hold for 30 minutes, demanded my current IMEI (for WHAT, I don't have the Boost sim card yet?), sent me over to a dept where the message was "we've having technical difficulties, goodbye" & disconnected the call, told me I have to call UPS to get the tracking number...total joke.
Lol...I'm going thru similar issues with Boost. I placed an online order on 7/17 and still have not received my SIM in the mail. I called Boost 5 times to inquire about the status of the missing SIM and was told by one CSR to go back to the store where I purchased the service, I told her multiple times that I placed the order online, and she kept telling me I need to go back to the store where I purchased the service. Another CSR rep told me to create a USPS.com account and track the SIM. When I asked for a tracking #, she told me to create the account, and the tracking # will be in the USPS account.
Can anyone help me out? I went ahead and ordered this without a phone to put it in, assuming i can just take it to the local boost store and grab a cheap phone. I was told they dont sell just phones and would have to bundle it with a plan to buy from a store. So, i just tried to order a phone from the site and it wont let me check out there either unless I bundle it with a plan. I was just gonna get one of the cheap Samsungs for $50. Any advice on where i can get an unlocked one without much hassle?

Get one from Boost with a cheap plan, then insert this SIM card.
Has anyone figured out how to actually track the SIM shipment yet for this?
I am super confused to why their email that lets you know the order has shipped does not actually include a tracking number or anything other than info saying it "should" arrive in 5 to 7 days.
Checking incoming shipments to my address on UPS shows nothing coming at all, and checking on USPS I have a single packing coming to me, but that shipped on the 30th, and it is a Bound Printed Matter--USPS Tracking® package from BROKERS WORLDWIDE - LETTER SHOP in PHILADELPHIA ,PA which I doubt is the SIM from boost. So as far as shipping providers are showing there is nothing coming my way.
Stay away from Boost!! Especially these promotional sim cards! I ordered two in June, none of them worked. Wait for over a month, no refund, no replacement sim card, just steal money from me. Called their customers service every week, and you will get a ticket number each time with nothing else. I paid money to learn a lesson, stay away from Boost!

I did get my SIM card in the mail, but it was the wrong one! I got a black one in the mail, which wasn't compatible with my phone. It should have been a white one I was told? Customer service told me to see if I could switch it out at a Boost Mobile store. The nearest from where I live is 1 hour and 15 min drive. I refused. They opened a ticket for a refund. See if that's going to get me anywhere. My advice: stay away from Boost. Black SIM Cards, orange SIM cards, white ones. They don't know what they're doing.

I got two black ones. And they both do not work. Every time call their customer service, they only give you a ticket number and say the replacement sim cards will arrive in 3-5 days. They say that's all they can do for me by keep creating tickets in the system, and when I ask to talk to a person who has authority to deal with it, they claim there is no number for their supervisor office.
. As I read it[visible.com], $25 is for the first month and jumps to $40 unless you join 'party pay[visible.com].' And if you join an anonymous party, who gets to view who's call and text records? It is a Verizon deal, so I will have to talk to my rep.
Party Pay doesn't give any of that information. Each account is totally separate, unlike a family plan.
While it is owned by Verizon they are two separate companies and don't have physical stores. Three biggest draw backs for most with visible is the VZW is horrible in some areas with network congestion and it will slow you down and unless it changed all Visibke traffic was routed through two servers, one in New Jersey and the other Colorado. If you lived very far away from either one your ping would climb rapidly.

Boost mobile sucks. This is the worst carrier I ever had. Hotspot doesn't work right. The Internet is slow in my area. Sometimes it's so slow it's unusable. Look up reviews online. No visual Voicemail. No wifi calling. You have to tinker with the apn settings every time you reset your phone. You cannot swap sim cards to another phone. You have to get another SIM card if your phone breaks down to use another phone. Who the heck in the right mind would want to do through all that just to have crappy service. Customer service don't know what the f they are talking about 90% of the time. Do yourself a favor and go with mint or visible.

They're awful.I'm sure there are more people like you and me who received a card that did not work. It's a scam.

Or do yourself a favor and go with Verizon, T-Mobile or AT&T. Whichever suits you best in your area.
