I've used this model for years. Good, comfortable ergonomics and performance. The rubber on the side where your thumb sits does wear off after a couple of years though. Not so much where it smears on your fingers. It's just rubbed away like a remote control button that's gotten heavy use. It's not a big deal and not at all bothersome.

Battery life is great and the light in the middle will slowly blink red when it's time to replace it. If you install the Logitech software it'll tell you when it's getting low too.

This mouse feels like it'll last forever, unlike others I've had where the index and middle finger clickers began to weaken and lose their tactile feel. The springs in these buttons are still going strong.

I bought this deal the last time it rolled around a few months ago because it was around $11. I still haven't opened the package as I'm still using the one I had. I prefer the black color, but this blue is fine.
I've 2 of these and can confirm everything said here is 💯💯💯

Little technicality: The thumb buttons are only on one side right? So it wouldn't exactly be ambidextrous even if the shape of the mouse is symmetrical. (and do they make them on both sides?)
What do those buttons do

Complete Crap. This has a issue with double clicking. Replaced several times but still an issue. DONT BUY. spend some money and buy MX Master from Logitech
Yeah, my issue is I don't want to spend on my kiddos. They can destroy most anything you put in front of them and Logitech while awesome, it out of my price range (for the kids).

I'll add my review, this comes in a couple of different colors and I've used this thing for years. Just an FYI I'm pretty sure it comes paired with the K350 keyboard that is so popular. I use this as my primary work mouse (using it right now) along with at home for some gaming. Great battery life, easy to change too. Comes with a unifying adapter (that alone is $12) + it comes with Duracell batteries already with it. I bought 2 of these in may (to replace my 2 other black M510's that were getting older). Just bought another 2 as backups to put in the closet because I liked them so much very much well worth it at this price. I literally can't think of anything I dislike about this mouse.
Love these honest and personal reviews (good or bad) this is why I love the SD community. Thank you. I know I can buy something nicer but for a 5, 10, 12 and 15 year old(s) I don't want to spend a lot for something that may break pretty dang quick.

I need a couple of decent wireles mice, any one have experience with this model?
This M510 Laser mouse is solid. I use one for my home PC and one upstairs for the office. From my PC to sofa, i am about 10-15ft between and its still holding up the connection just fine. I play counter strike source and I don't see any lag/latency issues.

As long as you have a good set of fresh batteries installed, the connection stays intact flawlessly. I am going to order a third one in case I need to swap it out.

Nice with the full size (over 4" long), and good price. Unfortunate that you can't order online for home delivery.

This kind of mouse is perfect for school and travel, and the batteries can last over a year.

Just put a good Duracell in there and you will never need to change it.

Why did this get recycled to "new listing" Front Page again?

I've been using this mouse since 2013 as my primary mouse. Per my purchase history and Logitech warranty replacement history, I'm now on my 5th one so they last ~2 years each. Usually it's the middle button that fails first.

Logitech used to be nice about giving warranty replacements outside of the warranty period but they're stricter about it now. Also warranty replacements take a while so I usually just buy another mouse to use in the interim and then give away the replacement mouse when it arrives.
Two years in not acceptable. This is exactly my experience with a wide range of relatively inexpensive Logitech gear, it works as expected for a couple of years and then craps out, often in new, interesting ways. The M310 rodent I round-filed just this week began randomly clicking all over without user input. It got a few years of light use. It wouldn't do to have folks buy a mouse, keyboard or speakers and then get 10 or so years of solid use, what kind of a business model would that be? No repeat customers. In my personal dictionary the very word 'Logitech' links directly to planned obsolescence [wikipedia.org].

I've been using this mouse for 8+ years. Easily my favorite mouse, battery life is ridiculously good and it just feels great in the hand. Highly recommend

Picked up one. It works better than my other $20+ mice. Might pick up one more if I am swinging by the store next week if the sale is still on.

The problem with this mouse is its weak blue tooth signal. I was sitting less than 3 feet away from my pc with my mouse on a wooden table and the mouse was already losing signal.
