16" 2.5K QHD IPS and only 8GB DDR4 max which idiot was the engineer on this one ???
I'm sure the engineer suggested to the big wigs at the company but the upper management probably just want to make things cheaper to make, slimmer and pump more computers out the door. They don't really care about making good products by doing stuff like this
They should get sued for this deceptive listing. I bought this last year and returned it. They *still* keep claiming it has Wifi 6 (802.11ax), it *DOES NOT*, it's some Realtek 8xxxCE chip that's Wifi5.
I told 3 different reps @ Microsoft about it, they just kept saying "sorry" but none of them fixed their specs, and none of them gave a shit (I told them partial refund or it goes back...so it went back).

Thanks for this. Was on the fence with the 8gb max ram, but this pretty much kills the deal.

I am on my 2nd return awaiting the 3rd replacement , both had screen bleed and the 2nd one was 6 months in its year warranty , I presume it was a refurb sent out as new . I can live with the 8gb ram as it will be used for basic needs . but if the 3rd one has a bad screen like the others it will be returned for refund . Pretty lame microsoft .

Bleed can happen with LCD/IPS. Better to just lower brightness and try to ignore it. It's a $600 laptop with a ultra high res.
