I shopped sheet protectors a couple of months ago to protect some historical family documents (correspondence from the WW II era) and bought the Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Sheet Protectors. These are almost twice as thick (.08 vs .05 mm), offering geater protection and, being a bit stiffer, easier to use.

The heavy-duty ones have also dropped in price to $9.98 for a 100-pack. I paid $12.30 in May. Not nearly as precipitous a drop as the regular ones, but FYI.

What happens to paper if we don't protect it?

Perfect for instructions that use all the time. Otherwise laminate them to protect but costs you more.

Ever see a way-old newspaper? Paper dries up and becomes brittle.

This post hit me right in the nostalgia ! I remember putting pages into sheet protectors in a binder rather than using a hole puncher.

I actually use this to keep important documents in binders, like medical record, legal documents, or titles.

I was gonna buy some, then noticed the imprint. Did they really have to print amazon basic all over on the edge???

Staples does the same thing. These are economical. The "presentation" types from Avery don't but they cost more.
