Nike has a good selection of the React Infinity Run Flyknit 2 at 58% off with promo code SCORE20, including all black in a wide range of sizes (6-15). This is $8.82 cheaper than the most recent deal for these sneakers, posted on 7/11/2022.

Is anyone else suffering from extreme shoe buying this past month with so many deals from Nike and Adidas? It's getting ridiculous... I've got 8 pairs of shoes from these deals and likely more on the way and I don't even run.
Got my first pair of the original Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit back in Dec 2020, and started using it as my daily running / school shoes around April 2021. I have probably clocked close to a 1,000 miles in it, here are my thoughts:
1. When I first started running in these, it felt really wobbly, as if you might just accidentally fall to the left / right at any time and sprain your ankle. I was extremely careful! But a few months later, I started thinking such a design might be intentional, because the reduced contact area with the ground kinda gave it more bounce, but not so much to the extent of causing you to fall. So no worries.
2. The upper flyknit is extremely breathable! I live in a tropical, humid environment, and I run daily in these. Sometimes it might be raining or sometimes I might step into a water puddle. But the shoe dries up quickable and never smells!
3. The only weakness of the shoe is that the sole could have been slightly thicker. After the black pattern wears out, the white sole wears out quickly like a rubber eraser, and holes started appearing and I had no choice but to stop using these.

Overall recommendation: Good buy!
Don't say crap that you can't even support. That's the dumbest comment I've ever seen on SD and I've seen A LOT of dumb comments. This makes no sense whatsoever. Absorb too much with boost material. Hahahaha! Our bodies could use any help absorbing impact from walking/running. Get outta here with that bull.

Build quality sucks on these. Wore out the soles in 6 months, and I still have 5+ year old Adidas Ultraboosts going strong. Hard pass.

Yes, don't pull hard when putting on. Been using these for 3-4 months and haven't had any issues with the tongue so far.
Is this true? I been running in these shoes for the past four years. I have owned 12 pair or so I own three now. Never had this issue I am 6'2" and 210-220.

I see what you did there: 13 = unlucky 🐈 ⬛

Only way to be more unlucky would be to need a 13.5 for the best fit. Fail. 😂

Sigh...

It was for the pair I had bought earlier this year. Luckily they refunded me and I switch to the invincible zoomx which I enjoy better. To each their own! Cheers!

Everyone's feet are different (clearly), but for my money, these are the best running shoes I have ever worn, and I've been running since I was a teenager in the 90's. I enjoyed them so much that I bought a second pair, before Nike comes out with the version "3" and inevitably changes something. This shoe was soft, supportive, and fit snug around my foot in all the necessary areas. I experienced zero lateral foot movement inside the shoe or heel slippage, which is a MAJOR improvement over the first gen run infinite shoe. I'd read all about Nike's new and higher soles, and how they can return more energy per step, but I was skeptical. Then I tried these, and was amazed. I average 12 miles a week on pavement, and run in all seasons. My first pair of the run infinite 2's handled a year's worth of that milage and still felt great. I honestly do believe they helped reduce ankle/shin fatigue and pain. I just hope Nike doesn't tinker too much with the shoe when they bring out the 3's.

Version 3 is available:

https://www.nike.com/t/react-infi...DH5392-300

They cut the heel clip away from the arch to stop the poking sensation. I had the version 1 and really liked them at first until the flyknit stretched out and heel slip got intolerable.
The first sale of the 2s last month I ordered these a 1/2 size up like I do my pegasus and the v 1 and the arch felt terrible. The review sites said that it was not a problem running but I was thinking about sending them back and waiting for 3 because they cut he heel clip back from the arch to reduce the poking.
This sale came up, so I ordered them in my regular size which is 1/2 size smaller. Got the shoes today and the arch feels normal. I guess the larger shoe moved the heel clip too far forward for me and caused the arch sensation. The larger size would probably work when running because my foot moves forward in larger sizes. Not sure going up a half or full size in the second version would work for wide feet for example in these due to the longer heel clip.

Got the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 37 last deal and it was too narrowwww! Thought it would break in after wearing for a week but still too tight. Is the Flyknit as narrow or more standard?

Ha yes but these are the best I've walked on. Not the react flyknit 1 and not the Zoomx. No Hoka or any other foam. The react flyknit 2 fits and cushion just right. Half / one size up is nice. I can walk for miles without blisters. Just ordered my 6th and 7th pairs! $60-70 per pair is awesome.

Surprised you didn't move onto the zoom fly 4's at $93 they're a considerable improvement for only $30 more. But as i always say, everyone has different needs so be sure you buy a shoe that fits your needs. Still a great choice for a very good shoe

Just got these today in the mail. Dear god these are super narrow, probably the narrowest shoe I have ever worn. Couldn't get my foot in, just gave to my gf to wear. Bit big on her, but she likes it. Was also a bit tight around the toebox for me, would definitely upside by 0.5 if you're OK with the narrowness

Went for a pair of solid blacks (Sz 14, my first from Nike since my feet are apparently growing as I turn into a fogey and Nike has definitely shaved some length off their lasts over the years.) Picked them over the black/white. Probably not a bad idea to have an all black training shoe. Worried they will be too narrow, but we'll see.

Not as exciting as the $160 Alphafly Nexts I found at the local DSG (They're online as well, single colorway, plenty of sizes), but the Infinitys are a better deal, and for me they'll be much more useful.

If you're not a heel striker, any of the 3 carbon plate shoes are really something though. That concludes my running shoe budget for the rest of the year. And next year. 😂

Just to follow up on an earlier post. The 1/2 size up that I received before were pretty narrow so I kept checking on these before the code expired. Luckily I was able to nab
a full size up and a size and a 1/2 up (11.5 and a 12) and just received them today. The 11.5 is perfect so the full size up wins. And I got them in my preferred color now instead of my 2nd favorite from last week so it all worked out well.

They're still slightly narrow but much much more comfortable with a full size up rather than the 1/2 of before.
