But yeah, not really the same. That one was 7 speed and this is 24 speed... And that had 2.1"W 29 tires vs ~1.5" 700C.

Can you give a link please. And do they have Xtra small size?
That deal was posted 30 days ago and it's sold out. Also, it's not really identical, that one was more comparable to Walmart bicycles

A couple quick things I noticed is that it's only available in one size, doesn't have hydraulic brakes, and probably needs to be assembled with no follow up service available like REI provides - but if it happens to fit you, that blowout price is incredibly low for a bike of that quality level.

Exactly. Both have same drive train as others have mentioned. Tourney. Both also has the same limitations, rear free wheel and spring fork instead free hub and air fork. But for the price, this is expected.
