My local hole-in-the-wall hardware store duplicates keys on their manual machine for under $1.50. Support your local business! Sometimes they're actually cheaper than Walmart.

Tried and failed to copy my car key after the code last week expired. The menu selection immediately showed message that their systems do not support it (Kia Forte 2013, no special chip coding required). I specifically went to that location because their website map showed it copied car keys, unlike others in my area.

They could have saved me a trip by making that info searchable online.
