Came across this deal, and Samsung is offering 1/2 off by paying $150 up front for a two year contract.
I'm not sure if this is a new deal, or if this deal was always offered, but considering at the time I signed up for coverage on my S22U, Care+ was only being offered at $13 monthly.
I got in on the deal by navigating to
http://www.samsung.com/us/support...care-plus/ while on my phone. You're required to enter your phones IMEI to check and see if you're eligible for the coverage.
FYI: Plans cannot be carried over to new phones. However, according to the contract terms, you can cancel anytime for a prorated refund. I'm unclear how much you'll get refunded if you cancel before the end of the contract, but keep that in mind should you purchase a new phone.
The $149.00 plan listed does not cover lost or stolen phones. It only covers mechanical failure (unlimited claims) or accidental damage (3 claims allowed per 12 month period) repair/replacement. If you want lost or stolen coverage, those plans are more expensive.

It's cheaper, for an extra year, covers up to the value of your phone, no deductible. Phone's destroyed? They pay you the original value out (it's technically an insurance, not a warranty)
Edit: Looks like Samsung covers loss and theft, Squaretrade does not. Deductible at Samsung is up to $250 per claim though, so pretty much pointless.

With Samsung Care+, you can get a cracked screen repair done same day at their repair center. If there's something malfunctioning on the phone, they'll send you a brand new phone and you send the old hone back to them.

This plan DOES NOT cover loss and theft, only accidental and malfuctiong repair or replacement.
The one with stolen or lost coverage is more expensive at $17 monthly.

I'm shocked this deal isn't getting any traction on SD. $6 a month for replacement coverage and cheap screen repairs should be a no brainier, especially if you're toting around a $1400 phone.
I actually had to use my Samsung Care+ for a replacement on my s22U. I was having issues with data connections, and I contacted Samsung support and when I told them I had Samsung Care+, they just told me to file a claim and get a replacement.
I filed my claim, and unfortunately my phone was on back order, which is understandable, since I have a 512GB s22U unlocked. But, within three weeks, they sent me a brand spanking new phone, and I just simply shipped my original phone back. I was satisfied.
Though, the problem with my phone remains, and I have found out its a carrier issue, and they're waiting for Samsung to provide a fix in the next firmware patch.
Is the coverage international like Apple? I mean I spend a lot of time in India. Will the coverage work there?
Considering I paid only $400 for the phone is it even worth it?
