$100 is normal price for 2tb plan WITHOUT the bonus Nest hub. The normal price for the hub is $100. It's on sale for about $55 from time to time.

DO NOT TRY TO GET THIS DEAL UNLESS YOU RECEIVED AN OFFER EMAIL FROM GOOGLE.

I tried to do this last November and I even asked their customer support to make sure I was eligible and they said I was. But then when it came time to redeem the offer and get the device, they absolutely refused to do this and took two months of repeated follow-up before they agreed to downgrade my Google one back to the previous level (and when they did it, they accidentally removed my entire Google account quota, which temporarily locked out my Gmail and all my Google docs).

Google customer support makes everything a hassle and doesn't care about making things right, so don't get yourself into this mess unless you got a direct email offer from Google.
Unless your Synology is off-site and itself has a redundant backup, you're talking about two very different things with the only real overlap being that they both offer data storage. I have 72TB of storage on my Synology, but I use Google One and other services (e.g., Amazon Glacier) to provide redundant, off-site backup for decades' worth of digital photos and data. If anything happens to my Synology (housefire, tornado, burglary, whatever), I don't have all my irreplaceable eggs in one basket.
Any way to get this for existing customers?

Cancel and resubscribe? But I think cancelling will probably delete all the data and I don't have anywhere to download all the data.

Could move to a different cloud storage, but I don't think its worth that much hassle.

Good deal if you were thinking about getting the 2TB plan anyways. Depending on how much data you actually have, it might be cheaper to go with Google's cloud storage since you pay by the gibibyte

Ended up pulling the trigger on this deal. We were already looking to add a 2nd hub to our google machine and my wife hit her 1TB max on her storage so this is great for us.

Thanks OP!

Double-check this but I believe Google has a grace period, so the data isn't immediately deleted but it will be removed if you don't get back under whatever your current maximum is.

I saw converted to USD it's about 17 bucks for this plan. Now I wonder how to change my existing plan to "turkish" plan.
