In all seriousness, you're going to feel 6oz in your pocket. Sure it's $10, but life is too short to uncomfortably lug around a steel bar in your pocket that gets dull every other week.

These aren't made by Smith & Wesson either, and it's actually a disservice to their name when they slap it on some bargain basement chinese blade they've sourced Facepalm

Yeah 5.9 oz is a lot for EDC. I got this one the other day and at 4.3oz it totally worth it. I don't like the serrated edge but YMMV. Sorry for the threadcrap, just offering an alternative

Smith and Wesson knives are hot garbage, I bought 4 when one of these deals last came out. Heavy, blades are wobbly, dull quickly and the safety's suck.

I collect knives and have something like five S&W knives. They're not bad. None of them have wobble, all of them came razor sharp, and I don't usually use the safety on my knives anyway. Dull factor comes into play with the steel you choose, but for $10-15 this 8Cr13MoV (mid-tier) steel is a bargain. Even if you have to sharpen it once a day, it's quick and easy to sharpen. If you pick this up, add a bit of oil and play around with it a bit, and you should have a winner, especially for the $$$.
