Not worth it for an 8 qt.

If they have the Insignia Toaster Over/Air Fryer come back in stock, then definitely worth grabbing. Picked one up last month and more room for things like cooking pizzas. These bucket air fryers work, but you just can't get much in them.

Got one of these with the recall credit from the defective ones. Really like it. Two bins are great for 95% of uses. The digital controls take attention to change time & temp. But, much better control than the manual switches of our prior one. The $50 credit got one of these around a month ago.
How much of a hassle was it to get the recall credit? I'm still using my Insignia (with caution and a fire extinguisher nearby) because the terms of the recall really sucked IMO.

ETA: Just ordered this and the credit is looking better, even if I can't use it for this.

Not too long ago a similar insignia unit went on sale for 50. wanted a dual basket fryer for so long so we hopped on it. recieved it, worked amazing for... 17 days. i watched the thing short out in the middle of heating something up and it just became completely unresponsive. took it back to best buy to at least get a warranty replacement as it was out of the ridiculously small return window, but the girl at the desk gave me the refund anyway as apparently getting a replacement shipped out would've been more trouble that it was worth for both of us.

back up 50 bucks, and this one looks way better than that one. lets just hope this one doesn't catch fire or short out on me! Thanks OP!!

I have a combo bella pro toaster oven/air fryer. It's a hassle to clean and the multi trays is convenient but you have to rotate levels mid way if you want everything cooked properly. I prefer the basket air fryer for easier cleaning
I have the Insignia and it's much easier to clean than the basket air fryers.

Is that the unit that has the rotisserie attachments? If so, I have the Instant Vortex version and, besides the LCD dying on mine (which apparently is a design flaw with the Instant Vortex units only), it's a great oven. I think I've read that the Insignia version isn't plagued with the design flaw and should be much more reliable. I'll probably end up picking one of those up next time there's a sale. Half the digits are readable on the Instant Vortex Plus unit I have. And Instant brands support is despicable - it's an obvious defect yet they offered me 20% off to buy a new one. I won't be buying Instant-branded anything anymore.
It's not the smaller one that had the recall. It should says something like "Insignia 6 slice toaster oven/air fryer. I had the other one and ended up returning it for this one. A lot more space if you want to cook pizza in this one.

Going to post this on every Bella thread I see to warn consumers -

"Bella is one of the most horrible brands. Their products are cheap for a reason. They will not honor warranty claims.

Had an Air Fryer given as a xmas gift that broke in 8 months. Went through the warranty process and they asked for a receipt and a credit card statement from the gifter... The manufactured date showed that it was under a year old. Makes zero sense, they have lost a customer and a lot of good will, I will always talk trash about them if their name/brand comes up.

I was actually going to buy the tea kettle and found out it was by Bella and noped the f out of there."

I have this one, bought it in 4th or July, when it was at the same price.

Decent machine. The buttons were finicky at first, but that's because they're all touch: don't press hard, just a light touch will activate whatever you're trying to select.

For $50, this is a solid deal. I'm happy with mine, and we're eating more air-fried and roasted veggies than ever before.

FWIW, if you're a TotalTech member, you might be able to get the 2-year warranty in this, even if it's bought through eBay.

I was gifted a dual ninja air fryer. It is very cool. Only issue with the dual air fryers is that they pull a lot of juice.

If we have ours set to anything over 380 degrees F on both sides, it will trip our 15 amp circuit.

I'd rather get 2 separate air fryers IMO.

My daughter won a large manual Bella at a charity raffle event and gave it to me. It died after 6 months of being used 1-2 times per week. You didn't even know what temp it was set at because the numbers had even worn off. I would never buy that brand as a result of these experiences.

The countertop versions got me into air frying. I just bought a new Samsung stove that has it built in and am loving it. No size requirements and no countertop space missing.

You could easily get a proof of purchase that they were asking for and they would have taken care of you. Instead, you just choose to spread lies and waste more of your time doing so. Your vigilantly efforts will not put them out of business, so take some of your time and sanity back please.
