  • About this deal:
    • If trade-in phone or condition changes, value of trade-in savings will no longer be valid and phone purchase is subject to cancellation
    • Not all phones are eligible for trade-in and trade-in value may vary; savings are deducted off the full total price of the phone and are reflected in either instant savings or in vendor bill credits, both of which will result in reduced monthly payments for the term of the agreement on your carrier account
    • Additional terms/conditions may also apply

You can trade in your ATT/Verizon $300 Flip3 (from BB deal) and Samsung will accept locked devices!

No. Device needs to be paid off.
08-10-2022 at 10:15 PM
Should be able to, just need to keep paying it.
08-11-2022 at 07:16 AM
Device trade in must be done after paying off any due balance of payment plan
08-11-2022 at 09:23 AM
No expert, but I don't see why not if you used a BB CC and are using their 0% finance offer
08-11-2022 at 06:23 PM
I don’t think Samsung will care. You need to keep paying the phone to avoid black list.

I am wondering the same. So if I have the z flip 3 to trade in and this is $900 + the $100 of the reservation offer it means I can get the z flip 4 for free trading in my z flip 3?
08-10-2022 at 04:40 PM
No, $100 credit for buying Galaxy watches and buds.
08-11-2022 at 05:37 AM
RESERVEB4 I believe is the code for the pre-reservation $100 off accessories, $60 off watch and $40 off buds (something like that). Also, MAKE sure to login to your Samsung account FIRST then start pre-ordering the phone OR use a new web browser OR use your current phones Samsung Shop app. All of the above worked for me AFTER not working in Chrome.

Also, I'm not sure if this is still active but yesterday if you watched the "reveal party" or whatever they called it you could have used the code AUG10BQ11A to get another $100 off accessories.
08-11-2022 at 01:33 PM
You have to have signed up for the offer prior to the event yesterday (8/10) to get the credit.

Charged me immediately .
08-12-2022 at 01:39 AM
My understanding is that if you use Paypal you get charged immediately. Credit card directly, upon shipment. Unsure about Amazon pay
08-12-2022 at 10:12 AM
They authorized my card the full amount. It doesn’t mean they will charge the card. They authorize the card to make sure the card has enough available credit to cover the purchase.
08-15-2022 at 11:14 AM
Samsung charge my credit card immediately last Thursday. I got the bill today. They don’t charge your card until it shipped unlike Apple.

Yes you should be able to, but you must keep paying the device off.
08-13-2022 at 12:04 AM
If you are in the US, I'm pretty sure most carriers require you to pay off the device (definitely on Verizon), ESPECIALLY if you transfer your number. If you transfer your number, your payment agreement ends and you will owe the full amount to the carrier. If you use a new number for the new device and keep your old phone on the plan, I'm not sure what would happen.
08-14-2022 at 09:51 AM
Yes, I did this for my S22 Ultra and my S21 Ultra was the trade and is still financed through Verizon. You just need to keep paying your device payments.

Yes, you should add a Watch 5 and Buds2 Pro. Then use the promo codes: RESERVEB4 and AUG22BQ3P (probably today's code, but I haven't checked).

You'll pay about $80 more than your total but you'll also get the the watch and extra pair of buds.

You could also swap the Buds2 Pro you added for $50 when adding the Flip to the cart and switch to a free pair of Buds2. That way you'd get the phone, watch, Buds2 and Buds2 Pro for about $255 total (before tax).

And don't forget to use any cashback sites you can!
08-22-2022 at 11:40 AM
you can add free 40 mm watch and charger. i did same yesterday

Samsung rep just told me "You have 15 days from the day your new device arrives to try it out till you send Samsung your old one, and Samsung will provide u the shipping label"
08-22-2022 at 06:01 PM
Got trade in email after they shipped out my new phone. Just email you FedEx shipping label. Provide your own shipping box unlike Google.

I just finally placed my order since the codes weren't working last night and today. Here is the new code for the $100 Credit that stacks with the $200 Reservation Credit (RESERVEB4) that worked for me. YMMV

Good luck folks!

I know a lot of people read these threads for general information, so I just wanted to attempt to answer some stuff I've seen come up commonly over the past few days, especially the last 200 or so posts.

If I get something wrong, or if it wasn't your experience, just know I'm giving my best information based on experience and comprehension.

Issue: I can't get both codes to work
Answer(s) 1) The code may no longer be active. There are two separate live codes from each of the past two days. These were for an additional hundred past the RESERVE codes. In addition, often, you have to make sure the Live code is entered first, and then the reserve code.
If this doesn't work. Create a new account, or checkout without an account (but write your info down). If this doesn't work, try again. And Again. And again. A lot of the issues are caused by a bad website that drops pieces of your orders and reconfigures orders randomly page to page.

If this doesn't work. Try the samsung shop APP. Some report success there, though for me, it will apply both codes and kick one out during checkout.

Issue: I have a phone on finance with X company. Can I trade it in?
Answer: If that IMEI is clean still, and you keep paying it after, yes you can trade a phone that still has a carrier balance.

Issue: Did I miss out on Day 1/2/3/4?
Answer: No, day 2 had identical deals to day one, but items and packages shift based on inventory and placement. My totals for the same orders on two different days were identical. But in cart, and processed.

Edit: The checkout is wonky, so there can be some variance, but be advised that canceling a previous order (assuming you even have the button as an option) may affect your trade-in cap, etc. YMMV if it's worth risking your confirmed order for $20

Issue: What about the free Samsung Care they mentioned?
Answer: Jury is still out. Some people have added it to the order to deal with later. Some are waiting for the offer to be mailed to them post-order.

Issue: How do I double dip with the PP Shopping, Discover PP, and other 12 percent cashback?
Answer: PP Shopping Cashback (gold, different than the other sweet extension gold btw) is very hit or miss. The other two are straightforward. PP Shopping cashback is unreliable and should be budgeted as bonus.
Edit: For those that do get the PP shopping cashback, it seems to be coming in at 3%, not 7 or 8.

Issue: What is today's code?
Answer: Naming convention is somewhat consistent. Try searching AUG(date)BQ. Some codes remain active longer than the date. You are still advised to enter them first before RESERVE codes.
AUG10BQ11A
AUG11BQ5P
AUG12BQ1P
AUG13BQ5P

Issue: Why is his tax lower than mine? Must be a Samsung thing?
Answer: No. States have different rates, and more importantly here, some states assess on the full pre-trade amount while others just on the remaining total. On a 1000-1800 bill, that can look like a significant difference.

Issue: I think the flip sucks, the fold sucks. Don't buy them.
Answer: No one cares about your opinion. People want what they want and are allowed to purchase and enjoy what they want.

Looks like they only updated the camera from Fold 3 to Fold 4. No reason to upgrade because you don't purchase Fold's for camera. All we want is a built in S-Pen......but we still can't get it.

Z Flip 3 trade in for Z Flip 4 seems to be worth it. $900 trade in value plus any bonuses and possibly cash back.

Sound like Samsung.

Ex: They give you $100 credit, but if you go through an EPP site, your $100 is now $90.

Fold 2 and Fold 3 trade in values are same for Fold 4, $1,000. Fold 1 trade in value is $925. I will have to keep my Fold 3 for now. :\
