What? This makes no sense. You can pick any game up randomly and enjoy it for a few hours... even AAA games. To say lower quality games are the "best" when compared with AAA.... interesting.

I get it. Some games have a steep learning curve, where you have to remember dozens of controls and nuances of the game. If you take a break for a month, then have to re-learn controls, the story, etc

It's amazing that this game series is based on an old 1999 Japanese PS1 game with a cult following.

It's not too often that spiritual successors of a niche Japanese game achieves success in the indie game world and I'm so happy it worked out for the developer behind this.

He released the original game as freeware around 2005-2006 before indie games were even much of an industry, so it was really a passion project for him.

I learned about it from a freeware article in GameInformer and I've been a fan ever since!

Cook, Serve, Delicious! are some of the most underrated games that have come out in quite a long time. They're very fun, and very addicting.

I already bought most of the AAA games I want.
And already chose to pass up the ones I don't want.

Not to mention they tend to be so similar in gameplay and style that even if I don't own one, there's a good chance I won't play it because I own something better.

Wasn't house flipper (cleaner) already free? Maybe it's on gamepass. It is one of the worst games I've ever played, right up there with power wash simulator.

This one is just diner dash with more steps. Easy skip.
