Now, if you want a speaker that is great for water and on the go, to this is a great option. Again, there are other options that are regularly priced less than this sale price that might have the same features and great sound too though.
I can't judge anyone for buying JBL. They just make a lot of great products. Personally, it is just hard to buy some of their stuff when I know how much they inflate their pricing.
Other options to explore would be offerings from the likes of Anker Soundcore line or W-King brand. Some of those options can be had at half the price so you can buy two and use in stereo pairing.
Again, I'm not knocking the deal. I had to keep from pulling the trigger myself. Part of that rationale, for me, happened to be a reminder to myself that these are great products that have too good of competition to justify the JBL pricing (for me). This post isn't intended to thread crap or start any debates. just my takeaway from buying way more speakers than anyone should ever need to have lol
UPDATE: I just checked Amazon and this model from W-King is on sale for just under $60 after coupons which means you could buy two of them for less than this JBL: https://a.co/d/2THoI6R
Last note; for those that feel like they need to down vote my comment simply because they don't like the idea that it could be true, I encourage you to provide sources of reviews that show this speaker going head to head against the brands I've mentioned. Again, I'm not dogging the deal and maybe you can teach me something new. I've watched enough reviews to form my opinion. Feel free to change my mind.

Dont compare the posted speaker with a cheap chinese brand
Why not? I've owned options from all ends of the spectrum. When there is plenty of review evidence for a popular product, why would you deny yourself the opportunity to have a great product experience at a better price? We aren't talking about brands that haven't been around for 6 months. They have been in the game for years.
Anker Soundcore speakers are some of the most popular Bluetooth speakers around and offer an app interface to tweak the EQ that audio enthusiasts love.
