    I picked up the smaller Ryobi brushless sds-plus hammer drill (PSBRH01B) last week for $71 with battery return hack. Works great.

    Looks like it's still possible, add the two battery "free gift" then return the batteries. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../319962924

    I have this tool, and think this is a good deal. I've been using it to help bust up boulders. It eats through batteries fast. But, it is getting the job done, though I wonder if I'll have a worn out tool by the end of my project. If you think you need something that is a good step above a regular hammer drill, I would make the leap past the smaller Ryobi SDS-Plus drill, and go for this one (esp. since it comes with a battery).

    What you got was sds drill not the sds plus. Still worth it for the price

    It uses SDS-plus bits. It doesn't say "plus" in the product name on the website but it does if you scroll down to the description.
