$70 is with ads just to note.
Worth it with Amex $25 offer?
I have the half off deal, and I am honestly having a hard time justifying that. I haven't watched anything on HBO/MAX for a couple of months.

None of the streaming services add content quickly enough for me to maintain a subscription. I think I may just wait a while to establish a large backlog on each channel, then just start cycling through them one at a time and binge watch things to get caught up.

To be fair, cable channels didn't have ads at all when HBO was started.

Shit always creeps in.

"Pay for this! There's no ads!"

"Okay, cool."

"We added some ads for you!"

"..."
Consumers always pay for the poor choices of executives... Insert ads to cover losses for earnings reports lol...

I just don't see the benefit to subing for a whole year when there isn't enough content to pay for 12 months (maybe if you've never watched HBO shows before). These offers are pretty much a cash grab for the streaming service. That said if you were going to pay for it anyway might as well take advantage of the cheaper price point.

I'm actually shocked that these streaming services haven't figured out a way to charge for content that wasn't released during your current subscription period to avoid people that pop in and out for a month/abuse free trail offers to watch all the accumulated content.

I think that will be the next step after ads haven't brought in enough revenue to meet subscription shortfalls.

For those that have ads, how often are they? Also, can you skip the ads after a few seconds (like youtube)?

When I login the annual switches to $110/$150. I am currently on the 50% promo which expires 9/24. Any way to renew at the 40% annual rate?

HBO Max doesn't add anything. After I watched all the DC movies and shows there was nothing left for me to watch. They really need to consistently add more content
lol All of that content you scrolled past to get to DC is the consistently updated stuff.

Does anyone know the details with the $27 Capital One Venture rebate? Like when it expires? I'm assuming I have to wait until my subscription ends completely before I can sign up again, right?

HBO Max is the one of the better streamers worth paying for

Lots of stuff being released movies and shows

Anyone saying they don't have content is a liar and probably likes subtitles tv shows

If you don't have an AmEx card, try capital one offers. They have a similar cash back offer

Anyone know if I can use this to add a year if I'm having HBO max thru an Internet carrier? It's one of those deals that get me free HBO max for the 1st year only. Thanks!
If you have hbo max with AT& T internet it is a grandfathered product which they are no longer offering. Even mine said it for the year but it didn't expire even after my year was up. I stayed with att.

I can't get mine to show the 40% annual rate either. I've tried cancelling/renewing/etc but it won't show the offer.
