I just bought this last week and am a very handy and fairly strong guy I can tell you this thing is an absolute nightmare to assemble. It's not so much the difficulty as it is the sloppy manufacturing. The pieces don't fit well together and the holes are badly aligned, so it takes an enormous amount of strength to get them to all fit together. Then you will have to take it apart and start over when you realize the horrible instructions didn't tell you how the pieces were supposed to be oriented beforehand. That said, now that it's finally assembled, my kid is having a blast, but if you're a smaller person and/or less than handy, think really hard before pulling the trigger on this one.

Man what happened to the good old days where you would get into a peculiarly off balance bounce and feel a sense of dread as you flew off the side?

Took me about an hour to assemble. I'm a general contractor and it wasn't too bad. I think the average home owner probably won't have much fun putting this together though. Seems pretty sturdy and kids are having a blast.

Bought this last year at this price. It's really great for what you pay. the green plastic is not great, some of those 'screws' strip. Overall, I'd buy it again and recommend it. my 2 & 4yr old's love it. I wouldn't get it for kids >7.

We found the "My First Trampoline" Customer Support folks to be amazingly responsive at the email address at the back of the user manual. They replied within a few minutes and went above and beyond what we expected.

Absolutely awful product. Nightmare to assemble. Springs are tight to bounce the size of kid that would actually fit in there. No fun has been had in ours all summer

I have had ours in the basement for the last year. I haven't tried moving it outside yet and I'm not sure it will fit through our double doors. It does move around a little on the concrete floors.

Mine wasn't too tough to assemble. Just be sure to put the springs in just like the picture shows.
Same experience for me since Xmas. Used some matching blue duck tape I happen to have make sure the separate pieces of foam stay together and complete cover the metal framework since some of the poles had small gaps between the foam pads.

Been great though. My 5 yr old kid has a blast on it. Wrapped the exterior and ceiling above with blinking LEDs and covered part of the exterior with space curtains. Turn the lights off and she's bouncing in space.

If this has the stupid centerpiece motion activated led thing, I couldn't get that to work correctly so we never ended up using it.

Edit: I'm surprised by some of these comments. Don't know if people are not assembling it correctly or what, but she and her friends have had countless hours of fun on this thing. We haven't had any kids over maybe 60 lbs on it so I dunno about older kids, but it's been awesome for us with little kids. It's paid for itself 10x over with the amount of fun it is.

Agree completely. Maybe it's an expectations thing. It's literally called my first trampoline so I agree that older kids would be too big.

Bought last year, pretty easy to put together but I did have to make a custom screw hole in the metal frame that was missing. Other than that, this thing has been a steal and is going in our personal toy hall-of-fame.

Yeah the instructions are TERRIBLE. I learned the hard way and had to redo things a few times. One important tip is the vertical bars make sure the holes face outward. Also the springs do one then do the opposite side 180 degrees across or it will be too hard to do. They tell you all these things but it's not highlighted when they should be. Good luck to anyone installing this. 🤣

I just ended up assembling this and man, it does take a lot of strength to pull the springs into the holes. I am a very handy man and I have put up gazebos, dry walls, frames, replaced sump pumps, vehicle fascias and many vehicle parts, and installed fences in the past. But man - it's not difficult to assemble but does require a lot of pulling of the springs. In short its a good workout. I am having a bad back right now hopefully it doesn't worsen.
