When this happens the information is still on the device since it asks me if I want to reset to factory or just add back.
Power cycling the devices does not fix it - have to use app to readd.
Using pretty standard network hardware and don't have any other smart devices like Samsung Hub or Google device drop out like this.
I've stopped investing in this closed ecosystem since then even though the pricing is attractive

Myself and others just have resorted to buying new ones when they break.
Disposable product but cheap and offers local control via home assistant and there really is no other product like it for as cheap as it.
Would still recommend it for $18.

Not sure it's just a network issue. I have a smart plug right next to my mesh router and it misbehaves.
Outdoor smart products often run into WiFi range issues which I've had and is partly why I extended my network with a mesh point. Restarting your router doesn't change how small the wireless receivers are on smart devices and how much channel noise/obstacles a 2.4Ghz network gets through to broadcast a signal outside.
