How does this compare to a Miele C3 Brilliant?
Though I'm sure I can replace bearings thats a pita. Sort of want to buy. Need to go read that review.

That's for people who don't like to clean out there vacuum cleaner, just use it a few times and get a new one when it's full!

I'm pretty engineering-oriented and can't even really see the bad stuff. He says it's rusted in the review on the four bearings but that area of the pic is so dark it's hard to see. In any case, it's possible that guy got a bad unit or maybe he didn't take care of it well.
There is a $700 difference.
I have this problem with any vacuum or mop I use on the first floor because it's 1000sq ft of tile, I just keep an extension cord plugged into the regular cord and wrap it up together.
