I've got an 2 older SVS SB12-NSD's in my media room. They do well enough, but I kind of miss ported subs and wouldn't mind some more performance. Would a PB-1000 Pro be a big upgrade?
I have 2 of these in opposite corners of an 11'x17' enclosed theater room and they are great for the purpose. I started with 1 and was not super impressed, but 2 was a game changer for me.

Prices have unfortunately been jacked up the last year like everything else.
I got two Outlet SB-16's in 2020 and 2021 for $1500 each, they are now $1900 in the outlet sale.
That's a pretty steep jump in two years.
Love their products though, no issues with any outlet products. I have two pairs of bookshelf speakers (ultra and prime), ultra center, dual SB-16's, SB-1000... everything off their outlet sales except the center speaker.
Can anyone tell me how a PB 2000 Pro compares to the Monolith M12? I am not as familiar with SVS.
The Monolith M12 will extend a little deeper and has a flatter overall response according to anechoic measurements. The advantage of the SVS is customer service, the ability to trade it in (within the first year) through their upgrade program, and the app. The app sounds like a trivial thing, but it's actually really nice to be able to make tweaks to the sub from your listening position without having to get up. It is also pretty powerful.
