I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

Be aware that there is a $25 per line surcharge if the internet is canceled. Xfinity recoups the cost from XM by jacking up the Internet plan after the internet price guarantee expired.

The offer is not about paying it off but receiving 24 months of bill credits. In terms of locked, it makes sense since they want to retain the phone number, not just get the money from us.

If you pay off your phone then you pay whatever is left of your phone's FULL PRICE without credits. You take the full price of the phone and divided it up by 24 months and then whatever months you have left is how much you have to pay. And you lose out on the remaining bill credits. The $400 credit is divided by 24, so $16.67 per month bill credit. So let's say next year you want the iphone 15, then you are going to lose out on $200 in bill credits but you will still have saved $200.

So to people asking if you can still get the $400 and upgrade early? No. You are either in this for 24 months or you are not. If you are planning to do less than 24 months, I personally would just buy the phone for full price at Apple and then use your unlocked phone to do some other BYOD deal in the future (will involve more research though now that it is esim). That's why I hoping it would be a gift card like last year, which gave us tons of freedom. They understandingly had to close that as too many people were jumping ship after getting the cards. I though am happy they at least are letting us upgrade without opening new lines, which they didn't allow when the 11s came out.

While this is true I have found that when they jack up the price I simply call to cancel the internet and suddenly the have a new discounted plan for me.

oh no, I just placed an upgrade order this morning. I wanted to be able to swap the phones between my two xfinity lines though.

I tried to cancel my device upgrade order but the online rep told me too late, he said I will have to refuse the delivery in order to cancel the order. Is it true? HELP!!!
