I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

If want to upgrade 2 lines, does Xfinity do a hard pull on credit twice as separate order?

I just checked my Experian credit score today and am not seeing a pull from Xfinity.

Don't buy phones on a payment plan. Irresponsible to the road to financial freedom.
One million percent agree, I bought a 14 Pro Max outright from Apple, and had no plans on upgrading my wife's 12 Pro Max, there's no need at all, but I don't plan on leaving Xfinity in the foreseeable future and I will literally be paying ~$3 per month than what I've been paying the past 5 years or so. I can buy it outright if I wanted, but I'm choosing to take the credits they're offering. If I HAD to take the credits because I couldn't afford it, then I would have no business getting this phone, let alone two of them.

You'll pay the remaining balance, but you'll wind up paying 50% of retail because after one year, you will only have received half of the bill credits to drop it down to $229.
Thanks

If we dont want to wait 24 months for the bill credits, wouldn't RedPocket $300 off work better? Yes, you get a lower discount ($100 less), but you are locked in only for 3 months, vs. 24 months

Are people who pre-ordered right at open expecting their devices on Friday, or expecting the devices to ship Friday? Xfinity support seemed to imply it was the latter to me.
Arriving Friday 16th. I ordered in past two years and they all arrived on Friday.

This is really depends if you want to stay with Xfinity for the next 24 months or not. If you're, then it's great deal. If you're not planning to stick with them, then it's not.

Should I get the iPhone 14 Pro Max or the Galaxy S22 Ultra?
They are 2 different phones with different OS, not comparable unless you are new to a smart phone, otherwise switching OS is not so good IMO.

Existing xfinity customer. Tried to do the upgrade on the website and keep getting an error message "sorry, having technical difficulties" no matter what I tried.
Tried chat, phone and in store, and they all want my SSN (even after I showed my ID at the store, did the whole verification with text message, etc.)
Why the hell do they need my SSN to buy a phone? I'm already a customer so they have it. Didn't feel comfortable sharing it over chat or phone with a random rep. I'll pass and buy unlocked somewhere else.

Redpocket locks the phone for 12 months. You need to keep the plan active for 3 months to get the $200 discount; and the same plan active for another 9 months to unlock. Or - after the 3 months, figure out a way to switch to an annual plan that will satisfy the need for the unlock.

If you add in the cost of the RP plan (minimum plan of $20 per month for 3 GB data) your cost or discount is a lot less.

Still a decent option for someone who's already on RP or wants to get on their GSMA plans.

Red pocket unlock policy is 12 months of continuous service, isn't it?

Are the silver 14 Pros really that popular or do they just not have a lot of stock? The delivery estimates are all the way out to October 28th, but many of the other colors are still estimated for delivery this Friday or in September at least.
