I highly recommend anyone considering this deal to take screenshots of the deal, cart, checkout, etc. If I didn't have that information last year I would have been absolutely screwed out of $800 that I'm now receiving in bill credits. That $800 was supposed to be gift cards but after days of calling/texting for help I ended up in an Xfinity store where those printed screen shots and a helpful employee were able to at least get me those credits.

An additional reminder, if you want to preorder, you're limited to two preorders at a time. If your order is delayed this can knock you out of their promotional period so CYA with those screenshots of your actual order date/time and the offers at those times!

I recently upgraded my Internet to Xfi Complete and will get $20 off my Internet each month if I were to add a new line and port in a number to Xfinity Mobile. Now, I'm on XM already so I was thinking of porting out to Google Fi or T-Mobile for a couple of days and porting back into XM to get the $100, $20/mo off Internet, and the $400 off iPh 14 Pro Max. Has anyone done this? Did it work?

Won't work. From past experience, have to wait an x amount of days before you can port same number back. I tried this in the past and actually lost my number.

No, it is stuck at Xfinity for 2 years. I asked earlier on a different thread and someone on here said the 3rd party services are basically not reliable for Xfinity locked phones.

But he wouldn't be able to get the $20 a month for unlimited data. There wasn't even $20 a month for unlimited phone minutes and text messages in 2008 (forget data). Providers were so shocked by the new tech that some people got bills the size of a telephone book because they still itemized every single thing you did on the phone.

And the phone was $499 with a two year contract. I remember being shocked the first time I bought a phone full price without a contract It seemed like such a foreign concept. Now I am back to being disgruntled and shocked that I signed a contract to get a discount on the 14 pro.
i just dont think its worth spending $400-$500 on a new phone every 2-3 years

Totally get it. I kept my last phone for 8 years. I figured I would be keeping my phone for a long time, so I was willing to pay up.

You said iphone mini 3rd generation in another post but I think you meant a iphone SE 3rd generation or 2022 version, which came out earlier this year. There are only iphone mini 12 and 13 iterations. The iphone SE line is the more economical line. If that is the case, the current Xfinity deal and thread is not for you. I would wait a month or so for iphone SE deals to come out, which usually result in pretty much a free phone with a 2 year contract. Most providers are not doing those deals right now because they are trying sell the 14s and the phones they are replacing/updating (13 and 12). The current promotion lasts until early October, so maybe check after that. For sure they will have free or almost free SE deals in the coming months.

There is a waiting period before you can port it back in and you wouldn't be able to do it before the the offer expires on 10/6. I personally just added an extra line to my account earlier this year to get the internet discount and counted the $5 monthly line tax as a necessary expense to get the $25 discount (my discount offer was $30 off if I opened a new line). I figured the $100 port in reward would basically be paying for that extra line to get a huge discount on my internet bill. But I am on the per gig plan, so I didn't have to pay for more data. Would be different if you have all unlimited lines.

yeah this is the part where I got stuck "Go to the Data Details for the By the Gig line you'd like to enable Data Saver for." I clicked on "Activity" tab, then my line under "My Data" but it doesn't show data saver option on the next page, just option to change amount of data, view past usage / call logs, and international travel

i get that this is slickdeals.. but asking mobile provider to subsidize you an iphone for $200 so u can dip after 1 month or after ordering a phone would make them go bankrupt.. they're in the business of generating profits, not to provide a charity.. with that being said, best you search your local cl/fbmp/ebay, 0fferup for used iphones n go with nvmo for $20 .. or wake up from that high you were on Smilie

got it, thks, will keep an eye out in the next month for the SE deals, my battery capacity on my SE 2nd gen is only 68% so hopefully it lasts another month lol
