McD's near me here in LA raised the prices of drinks this last weekend from $1 (where they had been since 2019) to $1.69 :/

Yeah, I don't get it. Their profit margins are already easily there at $1. Guess they know people will continue to order drinks.

they removed all the refill stations with the pandemic excuse. so now its even worse for unlimited refills like its used to be.

Yeah, I will say they introduced a spend $1, get a free drink coupon to the app sometime this week but there was (for the last two years) a spend $1, get a free desert cookie or pie which I used way too often haha.

But when it comes to the sandwiches that are just a dollar for OP, here are my favs:

I've been using this coupon most Saturday mornings here in Colorado. Go out for a hike and get a $1 egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit. All of the burned calories from the hike recovered in a small and tasty package.

The only problem is that some of the McDonalds near me are pretty slow.
