I wouldn't purchase these for sleeping. Your ears will get hot and if you don't sleep on your back these will become very uncomfortable. Use ear plugs and a white noise machine or I think Bose makes some in ear noise canceling buds

I got these a couple of months ago I think for the same price and from the same place. I absolutely love them. So happy to have upgraded from the Jabra Evolve 2 85 and the Bose QC 35 II. Super comfortable, incredible sound, awesome features.

Anyone know if there's a reason these are going on sale (for refurbs) faster than the previous gen? Like, I saw the reviews and people saying the XM4 is better in some regards, but are these XM5 just bad or something?

Got them as well from this deal previously, happy as a clam. They are a great upgrade from the XM3s. They charge stupid fast, are comfy, and have better bluetooth by a longshot. My xm3s would constantly have issues with connecting and would be slow to connect. Also, the battery life is a tad bit better for what it matters.

Checking the XM4 price history on Amazon, it dropped from $348 to $278 a couple months after launch. These are also technically "refurbished," so something to keep in mind. They weren't as well received as the XM4's, but Sony has been updating the firmware since launch to help with software issues.
