that you have to use overpriced doordash!
I got 75% off for 3 orders. It expires today HEY75OFF. Upto $20 off. Got 2 burrito bowls from Chipotle for $5 pickup.

Edit: Most likely for people who haven't used DoorDash in a while. I haven't used it in nearly a year.
Uber Eats is even worse. Compared to UE pricing, DD is relatively reasonable. UE policies and customer service is also horrible.

Will never order Chipotle online ever again. Paid for extra meat and it was like they barely filled the burrito with anything. Complained online and they gave me a BOGO coupon. You know, the same deal they have all the time. From now on I will only buy if I'm in the area and have time to waste. Too bad there isn't Qdoba here, miss that place.
Every time I order thru DD, UE …the portion is really small. Half of what I would get if I walked in the store & order paid full price & give them good tip like 30%. If I order for pick up through DD, UE it would be kid's size for full price. It felt like I just ate an appetizer after a full entree that I paid for. Last time my food didn't even have meat in it & I ordered beef. I came home & was like "wtf, they charged me meat price but gave me vegan in their noodles?" I can't really check my food because they stapled the brown bag. I live far from the restaurant & too tired to drive back. Called them & they pretend like they have no clue what's going on.

Anyone have any restaurant suggestions that actually is good. I'm tired of paying full price for 1/4 portion or kid's meal.

Exactly I need to move where u are. The restaurants around me are pitiful. They give u 1/2 or 1/4 portion compared to dining in or walking up to them & order directly…give them tips then they will go make your order. If I eat in restaurant, I can't even walk afterwards. If I order to go, I finished the whole meal but it seem like I had a snack & wanting more. Then had to go make some frozen meals from my freezer to feel like I ate something. Couple occasions, this restaurant I frequent gave me no meat for a beef noodle. TF I didn't order vegan but to pay full price with meat.

I also got 75% off for 3 orders. And, I placed 3 separate orders of around $27 each and got $20 off in each of them. Our Sunday lunch was done!
Sweet!!

I've seen that if you don't place orders for a while, DD sends you some super good offers that can be considered as steals!

Overpriced menu items + tax + service fee + delivery fee + convenience fee + tip
Don't forget sucks out all the margins for any restaurant to even make money to stay in business.

Does anybody know how I can resubscribe to DoorDash deals/promos emails? I used to randomly get these emails but since I unsubscribed from them about 3 years ago I stopped receiving them. If I change my account email, will the new email be subscribed to deals/promos emails?

LOL, I got this offer in 2 of my accounts. Man, it really spoils you. I only do pickup. Delivery is a ripoff with the fees/tips.

Move to NYC. Many options aside from this weird chipotle/qdoba/panda express nonsense.

also I usually do pick-up option and walk/ebike to get my food.

In my area, the food places are charging the same amount in person compared to ordering on here.

Still better to order in person as that money goes directly to the restaurant.
But it's really not making it detrimental for home delivery as they don't really want to leave their house/place to spend an hour driving out, ordering, waiting just to take the food home themselves. THEN they complain about tipping drivers for just driving your food to them while you browse facebook during halftime of MNF lol.

The ordering home vs in person is also a fallacy. I remember a day when a baskin robbins banana royale sundae was actually filled to the top. Now they are weighing your scoops and the lid doesn't overflow. No way in hell i'm ordering that delivery, it's probably a milkshake by the time it arrives.

That's pretty subjective for pickup, too.

Just picked up 2 normally $16 and $18 entrees that were $20 and $24 through DD app.

The 75% off ended up giving me 2 free side dishes and basically remove some of DD's markup for a total of $41.

Not to mention time and effort to get the food.

The poke place here matched the doordash prices which sucks big time. in the same shopping strip. it's $19 for either a poke bowl, beef noodle soup, fried rice and a protein, or a bowl of ramen. In person or on DD. Best this discount does is cover the delivery fees+tip so I can just be at home instead of finding parking there.

No need to read my post if you don't have any problem with your DoorDash order.

Signed up for DoorDash and made my first order at the local KFC store. Selected in person pickup at 11:10 am. Arrived at 10:45 am. Manager said no order found. At 11:15 am, KFC received order from DoorDash. Had to wait 30 min for them to cook the chicken.

At home, found out chicken was not extra crispy with missing skins on several pieces. Contacted KFC the next day about the problem. Got pictures and offered to bring the chicken back to the store. KFC's offered no replacement because of DoorDash order. Need to file complaint thru DoorDash.

Contacted Doordash. Was informed that there was nothing Doordash could do per the DoorDash policy.

I suspect a lot of places are aware of this loop hole, so they simply pass the buck to DoorDash. DoorDash's solution is to tell you to bend over. I will get some of my $ back by filing a dispute with Amex, but my $25 DoorDash is flused down the toilet.

Issues with your order usually go through door dash, not the merchant. Usually you select what was wrong with the order and door dash should automatically calculate and offer some amount of credit to "resolve the issue" for use towards your next order.

I recently ordered a burrito through door dash and it was missing some ingredients (sour cream and guacamole). I went through the door dash prompts for that type of issue (missing ingredients), and door dash offered me a credit worth ~30% of the cost of the burrito. Took it and moved on with my life.
