I don't know about syncing to Steam, but I do know that you can grab the games now without having to install them right away. They get added to your Epic Games account so you can download them at any time in the future.I'm wrong and don't know what I'm talking about. I'm sorry. I did some googling and it appears you'll have to download the games to your computer first in order to add them to steam

Yes, because if you use Steam, it won't work. You need to use Epic. Not Steam here. Epic Games downloader is what you need. Can't use Steam for this, so don't try. Just Epic only.
