Was going to order this but then I watched this video and realized how easy it is to just use regular trash bags.. haha

Why bother using a diaper genie in the first place if just using reg garbage bag? Price for this deal is pretty good. However, I find some of the ring doesn't have the end of the roll black marker on them. Which is fine if you're dumping just diapers in there. I use them for the cat genie too and it's a drag when the roll runs out as you're pouring the cat litter not knowing there's not more bag left in the ring.

I use the diaper genie to keep the smells minimized. Using a trash bag is much cheaper but keeps the smells away just as well as the official bags

Agree. It's very easy to get a box of trash bags from Costco and super simple to install them

Yes, it is easy but regular trash bag doesn't keep the smell in. The ring and the whole genie will smell like poop after a week.
