This is certainly a very YMMV deal but I was able to pick up 3 of these from multiple stores. One store had them in clearance and the other still had them in the normal section. These seem to have good reviews and it is nice they are Hybrid using 120V or the battery. No battery included but if you already have Ryobi tools this is no issue (again you don't need a battery just an extension cord).

$84 for me. Probably in store only.
One store showed $75 for me but still rang up 19.03. The other stores had no price on Brickseek.

i've owned 3 soldering irons with the old tip style like this where the tip slips on to the ceramic heating element rather than the tip being integrated with the element. I didn't realize how bad they were at temperature control compared to the ones with integrated tips. If you're doing large joints with lots of heat capacity or many connections in a short period of time do yourself a favor and get one with the newer design. The cheapest ones like Pinecil and Sequre SQ001 are around $40 and have way better control and temperature recovery.
Thank you for your suggestion. I just got the Pinecil and am impressed by the fast heating and temperature control. Since the Pinecil runs off USB C, you can plug it into a USB C battery and get portability as well. With that, I recommend the Pinecil over the Ryobi. For portable use, you want something that heats quickly and the Pinecil certainly does. I am now tempted to get the Hakko to replace my older Hakko for my soldering station.

Great to hear. I had the same realization when I first got a TS100 and the Pinecil is pretty much better in every way. If I'm at a desk I just use the stand from an older soldering iron and that's enough for me.
