cancel, wait until the day of expiry and then apply code. There is always some promo on with Apple TV+ and paramount+.

I am guessing you have to cancel before adding it? I tried to add it to an existing apple news+ subscription and it says "This offer is only available for new subscribers"

I tried on my active subscription and it said new customers only. I sent the code to my wife and it worked for her. We're good until Jan 20, 2024.
