This was a front page clearence deal for $6.93 at REI the first week of June that sold out.

I have a bunch of these already and love how far you can launch these things. Takes practice but covering an entire football field is for sure doable. The record is over 1300ft and the company will give you $1000 if you beat it (wiki [wikipedia.org]).

Accurate. I've never given this to a dog, but I wouldn't expect it to fare well. These are a thin hoop of rubber with a plastic spline. Teeth would probably make a mess of them immediately.

Edit: there is art least one retailer that sells the sprint (10 inch version) as a dog disc... And i found one or two videos on YouTube where folks throw to a dog. They may do better than I guessed...

I have one of these and they're great. Like others have said, it travels really far with some practice. That being said, the boomerang or square ones aren't nearly as good.

FYI. Do not use near water, they do not float. The ocean has claimed about 10 of these in my lifetime.

If that's the case it may be worth giving it a shot. Was thinking about getting one of those LED frisbees used for ultimate frisbee, but it's 4x the price.
