Me neither but it's a good idea, first 3 in series to get 4.5v, second 3 in parallel just to add more hours of use. Pretty cool.
I already have tons of flashlights, many unopened and in the original packaging. I definitely don't need any more.

Excellent! Another flashlight i dont need and wont use lol.

Length: 10 inches, that's a hog right there. Guess it makes sense with needing 6aa.

I don't ever remember seeing a flashlight that could use either 3 AA or 6 AA batteries.

I have the older model, doesn't have the grip but uses 6 AA batteries. It's in my take everywhere tool set. Pretty good battery life, been dropped, rolled off things, bounced out of the back of the truck, still works. Had to pull one of the springs straight, would flicker when shook. But it was easy fix and it still works.

It is kinda weird, isn't it, once LED flashlights became available it was like dozens of companies coming out with cool flashlights of all kinds, worthless ones with multiple shit LEDs, for high prices. Now there's many options and damned low prices for what one can get now relative to the batons of the past. I've got clearance headlights, flashlights laying all over my house it is bizarre.

edit:mostly craftsman branded!

Doesn't a 3 hour battery time seem short?
