They are all pretty close. The 150m is the older version of the 500m. The 500m were an improvement in most people's minds as the tweeter is a bit more subdued and not as bright as the 150m. The 500m v2 (if you will) built on that and took the biggest downfall of the 500m which was the midrange, and upgraded that to be clearer. I don't think many consider it to be a whole different animal though, but that is really just my opinion.
Buy this amp. Hook it to these speakers with some cheap speaker wire. You now have "bluetooth" speakers that are much better than 95% of all "powered bluetooth" speakers you would find on Amazon. You can also plug in a usb stick with all your music on it and have it play that.

Their R-15PM are powered if you're looking at Klipsch specifically.

They use the same crossover if that tell you anything. The 500m and 150ms both measure better than the 600m with the 600m having a giant scooped out midrange. Biggest difference between these and MkII is Klipsch finally is starting to tame the rising tweeter and treble response. Still hotter than Harmon suggests but much better than past speakers. ALL have great directivity which mean you can eq all of them till your heart is content.

They'd work great, but only if the table you're using has speaker outs on it. Otherwise you'll need an amplifier.

oh crap, really?? i picked up the 600m, completely impulsively - but after years of just eyebanging the copper cones, on the last $300 sale knowing the Klipsch standard complaints but just assuming the 600m would be richer given the increased size... but knowing that I could have saved a buck and reduced the ridiculous footprint of these on my desk by any amount is punching me in the impulsive button lol

Thanks, in for a pair. Slowly upgrading my system and changing to a Klipsch system. I upgraded to the R-34c center about a month ago, now just grabbed the 500's.

thanks. looks like the II models but should be interesting nonetheless

* ey even that 500m I vs 500m II demo was really interesting in the difference. what a great rec. thanks again

** ah well it does make sense that the 600m is giving me decent enough bass for my pc where i'm not planning on adding a sub. probably part of my original decision making and now i'm just being impulsive again

Very tempted to get 500m. I used to have rp-160m and honestly I wasn't all that impressed with it's build and sound quality. It was just decent, nothing extraordinary. I am wondering if 500m could be different (smaller woofer can provide quicker bass) ....
