We've had this model for a couple years and have been pleased with it. The screen is sizeable, and the system isn't neutered if you don't keep the iFit subscription, unlike NordicTrack.

Tempting. Been wanting a Sole F80 or F63, but those are on a way different price point. I just know those treadmills are no frills and quality. Being a heavier guy (240lbs), worried this won't be enjoyable (stable, solid) for a guy like me over time.

Agree.

I've been hunting FB Marketplace for a used Sole F80, but most are about a decade old and no one is telling me hours/miles on it for use, so staying away from those until I can get details. I heard Sole treadmills show that info as soon as you boot up, so if someone's not telling me the basics of condition, I'm thinking its very heavily used. Holding out I think now for a Sole sale, which i think happens usually on Black Friday.

When I bought my T10, the Sole F63 was at a comparable price, but the lack of a decent screen on the Sole was a failing to me because I was mainly buying it for my wife. iFit actually is a nice perk, though overpriced when you have to renew (I didn't) -- running through the Alps or various other places was rather motivating.

I'm a little lighter than you by about 30#, but I've found the T10 stable enough. I remember looking at all the features, and the T10 hit nearly everything that was recommended, as did the Sole. The one thing the T10 is limited by is the length of the belt, which can affect taller people with a longer stride. That's not an issue for us and hasn't been a problem. Another downside of the T10 was the lack of Bluetooth audio, but that didn't seem to be a major concern.

For $700, the T10 is an excellent deal, but there's probably no harm in waiting for BF. My impression is that the Sole treadmills are very solidly built but lack some frills. I doubt you can go wrong either way.

I'm actually in the market for a new treadmill as ours just died. I don't want to wait for black Friday and I haven't seen anything worthwhile on the used market recently. I was going to pull the trigger on the Nordic track 6.5s on Amazon for 650. Thoughts on comparing the two for every day medium use? I see the proform has a higher max speed and incline but neither are necessary for me. I'm more interest in build quality and other indirect factors.

I just did a review on Amazon. I'm 235 and recently bought this to replace my sole F85 that I had for 6 years. definitely will handle your weight. See my review on Amazon for details.

FYI. get the in home delivery. This thing is heavy!!!

I had mine for 6 years. The controller boards are known to go! had mine replaced once before warranty expired and it died again a couple years later.

The workouts on the Nordictrack only work with iFit subscription, while you get north of a dozen video workouts with this one without the subscription. this one also has Bluetooth and dual fans
