Is this for indoor or outdoor use?
They're most commonly used in agriculture for things such as destroying infestations of snakes and rodents.or for destroying dry brush patches.
Poorly. They'll catch everything on fire until their bodies no longer function, but they'll continue to move towards while on fire.

I use this for killing weeds in my pavers... Roundup doesn't work well enough.
You can do that with a $25 device.

Uses regular gasoline which sounds like a good way to explode. I'll pass on exploding.

Bought one from Bereli a few months ago for $500 free shipping (regular price at the time).

Excellent product, but this price is not slick.

Currently their price is $550 free shipping but seems like only the California compliant model is in stock but I think it has a restrictive nozzle you can remove and then it will shoot same distance as the non CA compliant model.

No, its 1/2 diesel 1/2 gasoline. Or you can do only diesel or anything in between.

Diesel does not explode, so use that if you're worried.

I find that the 1/2 diesel gasoline mix is perfect and burns brush piles much more efficiently.

This is insane, I've lived near agricultural communities nearly all my life and have never heard of a single person using a flamethrower to deal with wildlife.

edit: except for fun/sadistic pleasure.
The spreading of larger wild fires is often exacerbated by brush. Forced burns via controlled, forced flamethrowing is safer than lit embers taking wind - like placing fire retarding 'blankets' around the brush.

If the brush is too big for your flamethrower; kick them out of bed.

Oh absolutely get that part of it. It was the claim these are commonly used to burn pits full of snakes and rats I find dubious.

Not sure about him but I'm and level of infestation with these is ridiculous. Soon it feels I won't be able to walk without them jumping all over me and it's been not that long since some stupid $hithead decided to bring these over thinking he's probably doing such a nice favor for everyone🙄 (of course we won't know the truth since no way that someone would admit to it if he's got any brain cells left). Trees and veggies are getting destroyed at alarming rate as well.

Yikes. I work with folks that live there too and they claim it's a serious issue. One thing I've heard is that they like to feed on the highly invasive Chinese tree called tree of heaven. They're a pain to kill but may reduce the number on your property if you can get them removed. Seems unlikely you wouldn't already know that though…

I was so tempted to pick one if these up after having a hell of a time with my driveway last winter. The posted YouTube video is legit! Maybe too legit for my HOA though... 🤣
