FYI Fire Toolbox is limited on newest Fire OS. I forgot to disable OTA on my daughter's HD8 and now Play Store is broken and won't install nor update apps.

Yes, but that takes up a slot that potentially prohibits you from getting a Chase card in the next 2 years. I don't sign up for a credit card for less than $800 worth of bonus.

Fire tablets in general are just not the greatest experience. OK for occasional or specific use like hacking it for some IoT project but any kind of daily use it becomes frustrating even with the late models. I have a HD 10 2021 unlocked with FireToolbox, and it's already feeling quite sluggish, apps crash etc. Yeah it's cheap but you really do get what you pay for in this case.

Chase too snobby and old-style anyway, used their card with excellent payment history and good credit score and they just closed it without a reason, for checking account they asked people to keep money there, don't like them.

$800 bonus? I see only $200, sometimes 250/300 (I don't travel on planes, so not interested in "miles")

I wrote before, $15 from agent. No shipping to my NY, usually some issues with shipping can be with Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto-Rico, not in 48 states.

Got same tablet on Amazon Prime Day, it's OK as door cam monitor, just lost connection with cam once per week, I simply reload page in browser. HD8 plus tablets with 3GB RAM my toddlers use for simple games and video streaming.

And I disagree with that guy who criticize it, decent tablets for own purposes. Of course, not for a full price. Wink Not ideal, but it's just consumer products, c'mon. Anyway, we live in plastic world, buy cheap, sometimes glitch, drop/destroy, buy new, repeat. Pro tech cost absolutely different money but it's also can glitch, trust me.

It's great. Only thing is glare from screen but I think all tablets have glossy screens. Sound is amazing. I had no issue with installing playstore. Go to wiki how website to get idea and search for latest updates on what's working.
