Practically everything comes from China.... nothing new.
fuse is designed to fail in order to protect your wires.
cheap fuse will only fail long pass it's listed specs.
cheap fuse will lead to melting bundle of wires, which leads to electrical short then fire.
only good fuse will fail at the right time, not before and not after.
only buy fuse from companies like:
Bussmann Fuse
Littlefuse
I just find it interesting that the head unit doesn't work at all after I jump start and truck is running. It seems like that is the issue. I'm wondering if I should pull that radio 20A fuse and keep it out and see if I still have issues.
Does your hood have a light in it? Maybe try unscrewing it and see if it drains down again.

Do the parasitic leech search as described, but sounds like it's bad wiring in your head unit causing it. Is it factory or aftermarket?
Also, toss a fire extinguisher behind your seat until you get the issue sorted

It's a factory unit, never been modified. My battery is almost fully charged from trickle charger so I'll look at doing that test and hopefully get some answers. May pull the radio 20 A fuse and see if that helps too in case that's the problem. I should do a quick alternator test too and rule that out.
Pretty much every auto parts store will check your battery and alternator for free. Takes like 5 minutes
If it was alternator, your truck would die (or the battery would drop significantly) while you're driving it. Dying while parked is almost always a parasitic leech (bad wiring, usb charger, bad sensor, trunk or plate lights that don't shut off...)

most vehicles even come with a couple of fuses inside the fuse case so i wouldn't even bother with ones like these tbh.

Not to mention many cars are delivered with a couple of spare fuses already in the fuse block
