For this price, good choice for a single laser.

If you budget is higher, check out the Formovie triple laser, you can google UST projector shootout to see a review and comparison to a bunch of others.

Use code V1549X not the one that shows.

i got this at same price a few months ago. later, i also purchased their matching 120" alr fixed screen for about $500. they both pair up great. for the price, this is a good deal for a single laser 4k ust projector

if you get the matching 120" alr screen, note that it is .6 gain, which means it looks dimmer than projection on a white wall but once you adjust the settings, the resultant image is very crisp and pleasing to the eye.

dont bother with 150" even though projector manual states it supports 150", unless you put this in a dedicated home theater room and use a higher gain screen/paint.

i recommend disabling hdr .. the projector doesn't do so good with hdr on. also, get a nice media player like nvidia shield, roku, fire stick or something similar because the builtin android tv is very laggy but it will do the job in a pinch. also, invest in a nice adjuatable mount because the projector has very sensitive alignment and focus. try not to use keystone correction if you can (not just with this projector but any projector)

Where did you got the screen for 500? Now I'm thinking if it's worth at 700... probably I will have to keep looking...

This or an Epson LS300 for normal living room viewed 100" at 13ft? I'm not sure the 4k will matter at that distance and I'm afraid of the rainbow effect on this one.

I don't have experience with the wemax but I have had the ls300 for about a year and it's pretty amazing. I use mine for mainly football and really wanted it to feel more like a TV so the higher lumens from the ls300 is what I went with. Have it paired with the vava 100" alr (paid 380 walmart online" and normally people assume I have a 100" lcd tv on my wall. I never have to worry about closing curtains or dimming lights.

This is one of the worst UST's out of the group, it sucks in HDR, sucks in color reproduction, and is average at best in almost all other ways. Which is why the price is constantly dropping on it.

These are UST you can get 100" at around 4 inches from the wall they are not made to be 10ft or 15ft back like ST projectors.

That being said if you want a good UST, the refurb of the CinemaX P2 for $1400 right now is a steal.

Only problem with all of them right now is high input lag so it makes them subpar for gaming.

I think the LS300 is overpriced for only being 1080p so I would pass on it personally.

Thanks Petey! To be clear I meant I'll be sitting 13 ft back, not the projector. Big Grin I was looking at the CinemaX but I read that it uses DLP and has the rainbow effect, which drives me nuts (thus my interest in the Epsons). Maybe I'll wait until a good deal on the LS500, that is supposed to have low input lag and decent pixel-shifting tech. I dunno!

Alot of new projectors are launching now or in the next month so options open up. I know the CinemaX D2 is supposed to launching soon. I think the Viewsonic launched theirs already and thats pretty well priced under $3K. The LS500 is a pretty penny but it looks really good.
