Just got to Sam's. The pieces of this lump are extremely small. Think mulch sized pieces. Grabbed 2 bags anyways cause it was so cheap

I bought this last week. Same clearance price. Burns clean. Didnt add much of any flavor to a brisket. I was not prepared for how much Ash this charcoal makes. Wow.

It's good if you want a neutral smoke. Pieces are smaller then the typical oak lump.

I bought this at $9 last month. Definitely don't recommend at that price. If you don't mind ~80% chips to chunks ratio, a good buy at $6. Burn long, neutral flavor (must add wood blocks).
