ZIPAIR Tokyo is Japan Airlines' low cost international brand. A few differences between ZIPAIR Tokyo and Japan Air:
ZIPAIR Tokyo configure their Boeing 787 in 3 x 3 x 3 seating configuration vs Japan Air's 2 x 4 x 2 seating configuration
ZIPAIR Tokyo's legroom is 31ā³ vs Japan Air's 33ā³ ā 34ā³
ZIPAIR does not include anything with the fare besides the seat ā everything is extra from carry-on, seat assignment and checked luggage. This will range from anywhere between $45 and $130 each way depending the options you pick.
But price is still better than other airlines even if you add on bags/seat assignment etc. But legroom could be an issue for some.

Independent traveler as opposed to group tour with a tour operator.
Are you for real? did you really get offended AT THAT???
That is OK Serra, I'm guessing that person have not read the official statement from Japan, ignorance is not bliss in this situation.

If you have no clue, it's pretty brain dead to yell "Do better mods!".
It's not their job to spoon feed you. They generally go above and beyond in providing additional details on deals.
Maybe lift a finger for yourself for once and do a Google search. Then you can contribute what you find here instead of whining like a helpless, entitled baby.

Japan? Virtually Never. Shots (3 min, prolly more soon) & mask everywhere indoor, 99% of people wearing masks even outdoors, social distancing etc. I'm skipping the reg family trip in Dec because it's not going to be as much fun there in light of this. But hey, Japanese are nice people, polite enough not to weld you into an apt & quarantine you on sordid rations like the miserable CCP. Nevertheless it's going to be a trip back to 2020 of sorts.
