New COVID Booster Vax is available

I just got the updated COVID booster today. I urge everyone, especially those with diabetes, hypertension, lung disease, heart disease, or any immunosuppressed state, as well as older folks, to get yours ASAP. I urge everyone else to get it within the next month, so it has time to kick in by the holidays. And don't forget the flu shot - you can get it the same day if you want. We still have 2500 or so COVID deaths/week in the US; that's a lot. Being up to date on vaccine cuts your risk of hospitalization or worse by about 85%.

Unfortunately, COVID prevalence is turning sharply upward in the UK, which is usually about 2-4 weeks ahead of the US, so now is the perfect time to prepare.

I got the new one a couple of weeks ago along with the flu shot. Didn't feel anything with the covid shot, flu shot.. i felt it but no side effects for me, not even a sore arm. I had some side effects after all of the other covid shots so I wondered if they even had the med in the syringe Stick Out Tongue

This is good to know. I had nasty side effects from both of my vaccines (I also had Covid, twice) so knowing the booster might be pain free is encouraging!

No thanks. If I catch COVID and spread it to someone else I want to be able to say I wasn't a hypocrite and gave them the real version of COVID and not the one my body was now dependent on because of the antibody dependence created by multiple vaccines.

FYI - I got the new booster vaccine on Monday, also with no side effects. As a comparison, I did have side effects (fever, chills, dizziness) with my previous booster (third dose of Pfizer).

The hospital advised me to get the new vaccine. Not possible to get it right now. Between surgeries - hectic schedule and still recovering. I'm doing okay with just 1 Pfizer booster. Will get the flu vaccine soon.

The science is out.
If you had covid your natural immunity is at least 7 times more effective than the vaccine.
I never had the vaccine as I didn't need it.
I got covid back when the masses were ignoring the science on natural immunity and they were even silencing people who didn't ignore the science.
The vaccine is pointless now anyhow, might as well inject saline solution.
