So I got home from work late tonight and I check my emails. Said all my Amazon packages were delivered today that were scheduled for tomorrow.. My Begleiter was in one of them and they delivered it to the wrong address. So bummer on getting the knife, but Amazon was nice enough to give me the full $69 in credit.

I actually didn't get four knives. The whole thing was weird. Had like 7 orders that were scheduled to arrive today, but they delivered them yesterday. Get the delivery photo and I was like, "That's not my porch." I may still get the knives though if I can figure out whose porch it got dropped on, or maybe the person will see the address and drop it off.

Actually had something similar happen with a Sony TV. Got delivered to the wrong address. Guess someone got lucky that day. Anyway, have a good day and hope you enjoy your Begleiter. Smilie

Ha Ha! I think they put it on my neighbor's porch. The biggest loss isn't the knives anyway. I had four containers of Temptations Cat Treats in those boxes, and I'm the one who is going to experience the cat rage if they run out of snacks. Big Grin

I actually had a similar thing happen to me last week. I had multiple packages that showed delivered but we're not at my door. The delivery driver did not take a picture as they usually do, as I was hoping I could determine if it was a neighbor. I actually looked around at my closest neighbors front doors before contacting Amazon, but did not see any packages. After a long frustrating customer service phone call with Amazon, they ended up shipping out replacements. And yeah, it included a couple of knives. Then the next day I heard from a neighbor who said they had my packages. So I kind of won that one.

Well my neighbor did actually have my packages. Not only did he have them, but he opened them all. Big Grin

I got 3 of 4 knives, and the only one not there was the Begleiter. He may not have had it though. Waiting to see if maybe they just marked it delivered but will actually be delivered today.

Still a bit surprised he opened all my packages. There were like 7 boxes, and I would think he would've looked at the address, or realized something was off after he opened a box or two. One knife was a fixed blade with a sheath, and the knife was in the sheath backwards. All good though. At least I got most of it back, and they're still sending replacements and refunding some items.

So I see someone immediately gave you a thumbs down. Let me tell you what I did. As soon as I realized the packages were not at my door I searched personally as I said. Then I called Amazon and had to get through to a supervisor at their call center which is out of the country I'm quite sure. I begged them to please contact the local distribution center to get a hold of the driver who was just in my neighborhood to find out where he left my packages so I could get them back. They said there was no possible way to do that and they could only replace or refund. I tried everything I could to just get the packages I ordered but they would not accommodate. So I don't feel too bad about how that played out.

This is not true, Amazon won't ship most folders to NY, but they still ship most fixed blades. For example, they still ship CJRB Feldspars, Swiss Army knives, Civivi Button lock Damascus and all non-locking folders to NY.
