I have this laptop and it had various issues including loss of Bluetooth connectivity with an external keyboard and mouse, random loss of Wifi and USB Ethernet internet, random crashes, and reboots, and once it overheated while charging idle.

Thank God I purchased the "premium" coverage and Lenovo sent a technician to replace the controller 7 days after I submitted a ticket. (I got it replaced today. Fingers crossed).

I would suggest getting the premium warranty because I can't imagine how long it would take to mail it, fix it, and send it back.

Also, this is my 3rd Lenovo laptop this year and I've had issues with all of them. (Different models, one bricked after one week, another one won't recognize a USB-C monitor, and the third one is the 13s).

I mentioned my bad luck to the IBM technician who replaced the board (IBM services Lenovo PCs in the US), and he said they have seen issues left and right with several new models.

If you go into the configurator you can get the machine with all of the same specs except with a 256GB SSD instead of a 512 one and with Win11 Home instead of Pro for $761.43 (using the two coupon codes from the OP). (NB the Full HD webcam is a $15 upgrade, don't forget to select this in the configurator along with the CPU upgrade). Paying the difference for the SSD (which is a 2242 type, this somewhat limits your options and I'm not sure if double-sided ones fit or if only single-sided ones do) and for Win11 Pro (of course this is regularly $100 but if you're OK getting keys from the various reseller sites it's a lot less) could make it more expensive than just getting the preconfigured machine, but if the important thing is the processing power and form factor, this almost gets you within your pricing envelope.

Is it an intel, qualcomm, or Realtek wifi adaptor?

Hey thanks, I spec'd it with the higher res screen, the lower res webcam, 256GB and W11 home, it came to $768.85 which is indeed slick. Thanks! Peace

Looks like it comes with 2242 SSD but can fit a bigger one?
