1. Go to the "Order Details" page for your order on bestbuy.com. This page likely says "Shipping Kit on its way" for the trade in status.
2. Open Developer Console in Chrome. Navigate to the "Networks" tab and reload the page.
3. Search for "trade" in the search box.
4. You should see 3 results - the third begins with "2002..." for me. Click on this one.
5. Click on "tradeInStatusInfo" -> "fulfillment" -> "tracking".
You will see the tracking number of the return shipping UPS label. You should also see a "isBoxShipped" field that likely reflects if your trade-in kit has shipped yet.

I actually was paying for the 200gb Drive plan then actually got my 6 Pro thru Google Pass Subscription but paid it all off already and have been just been paying $19 month for all of the Google Pass subscription add-ons but can cancel it.
Here are the instructions again.
1) Transfer/Copy all photos and videos quarterly/monthly from the DCIM/ camera folder on
your new phone e.g. Pixel 7 to your laptop using your USB C cable.
2) Once the copy/transfer is complete, Free up storage from your Pixel 7 phone using the
Google photo app.
3) Copy the photos/videos again from the laptop folder to the original Pixel 1's DCIM/Camera
folder using the USB-c cable.
4) Once the copy/transfer is complete on your Pixel 1 phone, initiate the Google Photo cloud
backup on the Pixel 1 using the Google Photos app.
5) Once all the photos have been saved into Google Cloud storage , you can free up space from the Pixel 1 phone.
Rinse and repeat. It's that simple to bypass the Google Photos cloud storage usage using the Pixel 1 phone.
Enjoy your unlimited original-quality Google cloud photo storage for free work around Haha.

Just ordered from google store trading in my 4a 5G for $320. Bestbuy was giving 325 for the same. I had some 90$ google store credit to apply.
Came out to 546.64 and I'd get back 100 GC, 320 Tradein and 54 bucks credit for google one.

So as per your instructions, periodically I should transfer P7 -> Laptop -> P3 -> Google storage?
If yes, I can still access those google storage pics on my P7?

Pixel 3A is saving photos and videos on an unlimited basis for compressed quality only vs original quality for Pixel 1.
I dont think it will make much difference for photos but someone mentioned earlier that the video quality is slightly degraded for compress vs original quality.

Turn off Auto backup on your new Pixel 7 phone using the Google Photos app when you receive your new phone.

I just want to keep it simple for now .
My goal is to backup my photos and videos into my hard drive/laptop and Google cloud at the same.
No plan on rooting my phone or installing an unknown app into my phone eg security concern.
Thanks for the suggestion again.
