just got the iphone XR from tracfone deal for 99 + $15 per month plan. It showing warranty till Feb-16-23.

Also when I text UNLOCK to 611611 . it says your phone will be automatically unlock on 12-12-2022

Depend on what you are trying to do, trade in or get it unlock?

Remember Verizon bought over Tracfone family including straight talk and Totalwireless. So iPhones purchased get unlocked after activation for minimum one month and waiting 60 days. Sometimes you need to call Tracfone unlocking service to get it unlock.

The iPhone XR received include an instruction to activate either through Straight Talk or Total Wireless… thus my extra explanation above.

That sucks. So your total was only 5 phones? Any chance you've ordered phones from Total Wireless or Tracphone before also? I think they may count also since they're basically the same company. It might also be since it was over only a month. I think other reports of issues with over 6 may have been over a few months

yes, total was 5 phones. I'll try again if the XR comes back in stock soon and if it gets cancelled again I'll assume I hit the limit.

UPS estimate arrive monday 28.....
Conclusion.... paypal method works, the issue was the limit stock

I ordered the 19th and haven't even gotten an order confirmation email from them. One thing I've learned is the tracfone family of companies offer horrible service. I hope I get my phone before December.

Might be too many at once. Others have mentioned in the past that they block orders of too many phones. I've usually seen problems starting at six phones, but someone just mentioned an issue with five in a month. Also, it's only been a week, so they could still ship. Large orders might go lower in the queue or something.

I unexpectedly got one of these after I placed an order a couple of weeks ago and forgot about it.

Plan is to trade in the phone for a pixel 7. What's the best thing to do with the $35 monthly service? If I don't call in to activate, then can I save that for when I have someone visiting and needs a sim?

Oh Ok. Thank you. Im waiting for Paypal's response. I ordered it to trade in for Pixel 7 from Best Buy....if it doesnt show up i will end up cancelling the pickup. Bad.
