Low flow makes sense as long as you aren't flushing your low flow toilet 5 times to get something down that would take a regular flow toilet one flush.

Got the Drake 1.28gpf for my recent bathroom remodel. Even the low flow one flushes well so this 1.6gpf should be good flush wise. I've been disappointed with the cefiontect coating though. Specks of doo doo seem to stick and are hard to remove when it happens. Old toilet would wipe clean easily, this one looks like it embeds into the coating. Not sure if I got a defective one but its too late now since it's installed. It was made in Mexico, not Japan.

Bit sad because I was excited to upgrade to a Toto for my remodel. Toto is supposed to be premium brand. If I had to buy another toilet I'm not sure I'd get this one again.

I have replaced all three toilets in my house with Toto Drakes over the last 15 (or so) years. I bought the first after reading that they could "flush a penguin". Indeed, no one in my house has ever stopped one up. I put an ADA ("Universal") height one in the master bath, thinking it might be preferred as we get older, but it seems to be too high for comfort. I'm also not a big fan of the tornado flush on that one, vs the earlier Drakes without it. All in all, we recommend them. For lots of information, google "Terry Love plumbing" for forums.
