They aren't banned and it's silly to say they're frowned up. Most of the fastest runners wear vaporfly or alphafly (or another super shoe). Go look at the photos for the top runners, at any of the most recent majors (London, Chicago, Berlin). At this price, they're basically the same price as a trainer. Some people are critical of the shoe and those who wear them, but everyone is going to have an opinion about something. Who cares?

I just went for a run in brand new alphafly's from the nike deal and broke every single one of my PR's from 1/2 mile all the way to 10k in one run lolā¦ these running shoes are LOUD on the street for sure, every step you take is very pronounced.
Also definitely very very cushy but durability will definitely be short
