The Powder 8s would be better for that since it has those features. While it doesn't mention breathability ratings, I would assume it would be a minimum of 10k since it is a ski/snowboard jacket.

I use a combination of shell and insulating layer. You have a shell, it needs to be burly-ish, have convenient pockets, maybe a helmet compatible hood. Then you have an insulating layer, usually some kind of lightweight down jacket. This gives you options that you don't have with the "insulated ski jacket". But yeah the only real ski jacket in this post is the 8s. Which is fine if you have consistent cold conditions I guess.
