I was looking into the bigger options during Early Access Prime Day last week or so and I was surprised at the lack of customer service people experienced with Westinghouse based on the negative comments I read. Sure there are a ton of positive reviews but those usually get submitted after one usage which I get bc your at the heat of the moment but the negative reviews truly showed me how bad the brand stood behind their product.

I was pretty upset discovering this bc I almost pulled the trigger on their 12k watt model. Anyone experienced a more positive experience with them?

Yes their customer service is horrible. If you have any problems just take it back to the store.

Yes, my experience was great. I purchased the 12k from my local HD. Upon unboxing, I found that the plastic around the control panel was cracked. This damage did not affect the operation of the generator but I requested that the send the replacement anyway. Instead of just sending the plastic frame, they shipped me the whole panel, controls and all. No complaints.
