I used to have a Cricket plan for $35 per month (less $5 for autopay) for 10 gigs of data. Last month they secretly raised the cost and didn't even notify me to $40 and no autopay. I changed to the $30 per month plan for 5 gigs.

Are there such things as a "prepaid eSim airtime card"?
Have a friend visiting Las Vegas from Canada and their phone is eSim only.

I have that same plan. It has always been $40 for me, but I would get a $5 autopay credit. Are you saying $5 autopay credit went away? I am currently in the process of ditching cricket for 90 days so I can come back and get their multi month plan for $25 a month or $300 a year. Stinks that you need to jump through hoops because you're a loyal customer.

For At&t if you have any balance on your prepaid account they don't charge you tax. SO I just through a discounted $50 card on it every other month and save on taxes/E911.

As far as I know, autopay credit is gone. It's not on their web site. The 10 gigs is now $40 without any discounts. What really pisses me off is that they didn't even bother to notify me about the price change.
